HOW TO INSTALL AND CONFIGURE THE EZVIZ WI-FI CAMERA TO YOUR SMART PHONE
POWER
Connect the USB power cord that came with the camera
Plug in the power cord into the USB adapter that was provided with the camera. Plug the adapter into a power outlet
EZVIZ APP
Get the EZVIZ App on Play Store or Appstore
Create your account. (Click on Create New Account: If you already have an account, click on Sign In and enter your credentials)
You can use either phone number or email when creating the account.
When using phone number, ensure you select the correct country code for mobile number prefix
Create a password (It has to be 8-16 characters long and should include uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers & special symbols)
Check the Terms of Service checkbox at the bottom
A verification code will be sent to the email/ phone number used in registration.
Once you enter the 4 digit verification code in the slots provided, your account will be created.
Sign into your account
CONFIGURING THE CAMERA
Click on the “+” symbol at the top right corner of the app
Click on “Add Device”
Click on “Cameras”
The phone camera app will launch. Scan QR Code:
Alternatively you can click on the notepad icon at the top right of the app and input the device serial number located at the back or bottom of the camera
If the device is plugged into the power outlet and a blinking light is visible, click on “Device is powered on”
When the camera LED starts flashing “blue”, click on “Indicator Flashes Blue” and click Next
Choose the Wi-Fi network the camera will connect to and input the Wi-Fi password
Click Next and wait for the camera to configure to the network. You might hear a prompt “Connecting to Wi-Fi… Please wait” and “Wi-Fi Connected” after the process is complete
You can assign the camera a name and click Next
A voice prompt “Configuration complete” will be heard
Click Next and you will receive a prompt to create a password and verify the password. (Follow the password guidelines suggested below)
Click on Have Modified and you will be redirected to the home page where you can view your camera
HOW TO RESET THE CAMERA TO DEFAULT
At the back of the camera press the reset button for five seconds or until you hear a prompt “Reset Successfully”.
A second prompt will be heard “Please use Ezviz app for device Wi-Fi configuration”
Repeat the steps for configuring the camera to your phone as directed above
